The Division:
Jonas Software is the leading provider of enterprise management software solutions in 17 vertical industries. Within each vertical market, Jonas boasts a group of market-leading brands, all of which are respected and longstanding leaders within their own domain. Jonas is an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (CSI) - publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CSU. Constellation Software Inc. acquires, maintains, supports,and enhances software systems for life. This position is part of our Jonas Club ERP's global R&D team. Worldwide,over 2,200 clubs in more than 17 countries with memberships ranging from 100 to 20,000, utilize the Jonas Club ERPsoftware to build and enrich member relationships, increase revenues, and decrease costs.

The Position:
This position primarily involves .NET development work on our core ERP modules, built on WinFormsandVB.NET, and will evolve, as per need, to other tools including web development. It also involves database designing/programming and working on development patterns. The candidate must have strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; the ability to perform comfortably and responsibly in a fast-paced work environment; the ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and the ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.The successful hires will work from the Contour Software Karachi office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences,informationsystems, or equivalent technicaldegree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years of experience in developing WinForms applications using .NET (VB.NET and/or C#).

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, design principles, and software architecture

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including:

• Writing complex queries

• Designing and optimizing stored procedures

• Performance tuning and troubleshooting

• Experience working with third-party UI components, such as Infragistics or similar frameworks

• Hands-on experience with multithreaded and/or asynchronous programming concepts

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, due to frequent interaction with North American team members

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Working knowledge of LINQ, WCF, and service-oriented architectures

• Experience using Git for source control and Jira or similar tools for issue tracking

• Prior experience designing, creating, and consuming REST or SOAP APIs

• Exposure to web development technologies (ASP.NET, modern web frameworks)

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
