Job Description

In Device Software, we create firmware for Hearing Aids and Accessories and as our new Senior Developer in OS Wireless you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will develop resource-constrained – often time-critical – C-code for mainly hearing aids, as well as unit-tests for this.

The team you will be part of:

OS Wireless is part of the GN Hearing Platform Team. We are responsible for the control and application code inside the hearing aids and accessories – as well as the BLE Audio stack, allowing us to interface with phones and streamers. We work closely with the Algo team – who are responsible for the digital signal processing. We like to develop products together in SCRUM-teams under SAFe.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Handle incoming requirements and challenges
• Develop stable, safe and secure – but also fast - embedded C code
• Interface to Algo-team as well as hardware teams

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• have a degree within engineering
• are an experienced embedded software developer with a methodical approach based on profound analysis
• enjoy collaborating with others and good at stakeholder management and building relations
• agree that good code requires good tests and documentation
• are open to new technology – such as AI enabling change with data-based decision-making
