Compensation: ₹2,090,815 - ₹2,828,750 / year
This role requires to work from Pune office 5days a week.
As a Senior Software Developer on the Web Engineering team, you will be part of the Core Engineering team building, maintaining, and evolving the front end systems that power Vena's platform and serve thousands of customers. This role is a match for you if you love crafting high-quality user interfaces, care deeply about the end-user experience, and are comfortable working across both established and newer parts of the codebase to incrementally improve a product that real users depend on every day.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality front end features and components within Vena's core platform.
- Contribute to and help maintain the team's design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across the product.
- Identify and resolve complex front end bugs and performance issues in foundational systems.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback that raises the quality of the team's output.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back end engineers to deliver cohesive, well-integrated features.
- Support modernization efforts on core front end infrastructure, helping move the codebase forward incrementally and responsibly.
- Upskill other team members and help those around you grow technically.
- Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, continuously improving practices around front end development, testing, and accessibility.
- Drive the adoption of AI-driven development practices and innovative tooling to enhance engineering productivity and accelerate high-quality software delivery.
We'd Love to See
- 3-5 years of experience in front end software development
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience working with and maintaining a design system
- Comfort working in and contributing to large, established codebases
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and front end performance best practices
- Prior experience in a Scrum / Agile environment
- Self-motivated and self-directed with a passion for building great user experiences
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Backbone.js is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience with front end testing frameworks such as Playwright (Storybook and Selenium a plus)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how front end and back end systems integrate
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline and/or equivalent experience
Base salary range is 20,90,815 - 28,28,750 INR
