The Applications group owns etoro's core consumer product experience - mobile and web - serving as the company's primary trading and investing platform, built on React Native, React, and other modern web technologies. We build on a cutting-edge stack and delivery methodologies, spanning application engineering, QA, and product-led growth experimentation, and we're increasingly weaving AI into both the product and the way we build it - from in-app AI features to AI-driven engineering workflows across the SDLC.

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who loves turning ideas into products. You'll take ownership from early concept and technical design all the way to production, iteration, and scale.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks beyond the code: you care about the user experience, make pragmatic product and technical decisions, and use AI as a natural part of how you build, experiment, and move faster.

You'll have the freedom and responsibility to shape solutions end to end, working across architecture, implementation, delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own features end-to-end - from idea and specification through design, implementation, testing, release, and post-production monitoring
• Lead the design and implementation of complex, high-scale web applications and hybrid/mobile client experiences
• Make architectural and product trade-off decisions independently, even under ambiguity or incomplete information
• Partner proactively with Product, Design, Backend, and R&D stakeholders - communicating clearly and surfacing risks early
• Challenge assumptions - technical, product, and process - and push for the simplest solution that scales
• Continuously improve and automate the development lifecycle: CI/CD, testing, tooling, and workflows, always thinking in terms of scale and reuse
• Use and contribute AI tools (coding assistants, LLM-based workflows, automation) to accelerate delivery, testing, and quality - and help the team adopt them
• Share knowledge proactively: mentor teammates, write documentation and design docs, run reviews and demos
• Face and resolve technical challenges - performance, fault tolerance, security, and live production issues
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional front-end software development experience
• Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue), ES6+, semantic HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Strong experience consuming and integrating REST APIs
• Solid understanding of front-end architecture, component-based design, and performance optimization at scale
• Experience with unit/integration testing, CI/CD, and production delivery
• Practical experience using AI assistants and/or building AI-assisted workflows into daily engineering practice
• Results-oriented, self-learner, and problem solver with a strong 'can do' attitude
• Fluent English and excellent written/verbal communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile web or hybrid/native mobile development (React Native, Cordova, Flutter)
• Previous experience as a tech lead or architect
• Experience with high-performance, low-latency systems
• Fintech or trading domain experience
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, Coralogix, Mixpanel)
