Our software development team stands out for its creative and friendly atmosphere, its rigorous development process and its capacity for innovation, following the Agile development methodology. Our mandate supports the medical products offered by Zimmer Biomet; projects include but are not limited to logistics systems integration, patient data management, surgery planning, business intelligence and web systems. Within our Agile team, we develop web services and web applications for the worldwide orthopaedic surgery planning, including the design and e-manufacturing flow of the Patient Implant. Our system is the backbone on which rely many other medical devices including the now famous Zimmer Biomet ROSA Surgical Robot. Our team is responsible for the end-to-end development and maintenance of our system with its on-premises and Cloud infrastructures.

• You will lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews
• You will design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ and Qt code for computer-assisted surgery software applications
• You will implement and optimize data structures and algorithms to improve performance and scalability of computer vision and medical imaging algorithms
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, clinical, product, and QA) to integrate complex algorithms and technologies into the company’s products
• You will drive technical discussions, architectural decisions, and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development processes
• You will identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues, optimizing code for speed, efficiency, and robustness
• You will contribute to project planning, estimation, and progress tracking, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
• You will document software implementations, providing clear and concise technical documentation for developed systems
• Preferably you have experience with medical imaging, computer vision, or real-time systems
• You are familiar with backend development practices and technologies, including API design and integration
• You have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities
• You have strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• You have 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on modern C++ (C++17 or later)
• You have 1+ year of proven experience in a team lead, technical lead, or mentoring role, with the ability to guide and support other developers
• You have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, unit testing, data structures, and algorithm optimization principles
• You have 2+ years of experience with Qt/QML
