Senior Software Developer - Build Nordea's Next-Gen AI & Cloud Contact Centre (Stockholm)

We are looking for a Senior Developer to take an important role in shaping Nordea's Contact Centre services for future banking, and be part for our exciting journey with rollout for new AI integrated cloud based platform. Your future responsibilities

As the Senior Developer, you will work hands-on with technical development, helping to shape our future cloud-based Genesys platform and the connected systems within the Contact Centre area, always with a strong focus on the customer experience. We develop customizations and integrations, and as our core platforms are not developed in-house, much of our technical work involves working within the applications’ capabilities through configuration and scripting. Our portfolio spans desktop applications, web frontends, middleware, and integrations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Influencing the technical and operational direction of the team, and driving implementations with a strong focus on reliability, security, and solid engineering practices
  • Designing, implementing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and continuously improving the application portfolio managed or developed by the team
  • Working closely with multiple stakeholders in an international environment to optimize the design, quality, and functionality of our solutions

We are working with a broad band of technologies and are therefore looking for an experienced software developer with a deep technical background and hands on coding experience within some or more of our tech stack. Besides Genesys our tech stack contains Java, C#, JavaScript and Python.

We see two preferred paths into the role:

  • You have hands-on development experience with Genesys Cloud, Genesys Engage, or a similar contact centre platform, combined with development experience in some of the other technologies in our stack
  • You have strong backend development and integration experience, with more than five years of hands-on work in parts of our tech stack, and are motivated to learn and grow into Genesys Cloud

Your background and skills include:

  • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, WebLogic and Terraform is also an advantage in this role
  • You hold a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or have equivalent practical experience
  • You should be comfortable designing and implementing enterprise-scale services and have experience with incident management, automation of processes and tasks, testing practices, configuration management, and server deployments
  • As part of our portfolio is voice based, knowledge of at least one Nordic language is an advantage
