Role Overview

The Senior Software Developer – AWS is responsible for
designing, building, and supporting modern cloud‑based applications using
Amazon Web Services. This role focuses on scalable, event‑driven architectures,
contact center solutions, and AI‑powered capabilities while collaborating
across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design
  and implement cloud solutions using Amazon Connect, including contact
  flows, routing, agent experience, analytics, Contact Lens, and CTR data
• 
  Develop
  AI‑powered capabilities using Amazon Q in Connect and Amazon Bedrock, such
  as agent assist, automation, and summarization
• 
  Build
  scalable, event‑driven applications using serverless and/or microservices
  architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, containers/EKS)
• 
  Implement
  CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or
  Terraform
• 
  Monitor,
  troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, security, and
  reliability
• 
  Produce
  technical documentation and solution designs
• 
  Conduct
  design walkthrough sessions with project teams
• 
  Provide
  post‑implementation support and resolve technical issues
• 
  Review,
  analyze, and modify installation scripts, including testing and debugging
• 
  Collaborate
  with IT professionals across the full Software Development Life Cycle
  (SDLC)
• 
  Elicit
  and document requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter
  experts

Qualifications

• 
  Strong
  AWS development and cloud architecture experience
• 
  Hands‑on
  experience with Amazon Connect
• 
  Experience
  with Amazon Q in Connect and/or Amazon Bedrock
• 
  Experience
  with serverless and/or container‑based architectures
• 
  Knowledge
  of DevOps practices, cloud security, and monitoring
• 
  Experience
  with structured development methodologies
• 
  Strong
  analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• 
  Excellent
  verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 
  Ability
  to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment
• 
  Knowledge
  of accessibility standards, including AODA
