Mid Full-stack Software Developer

The Role

As a Software Developer, you will develop and maintain software features, contribute to technical documentation, and gradually build the skills and experience needed to take greater ownership of your work and progress toward a Feature Lead role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with senior developers and architects to design, develop, and maintain software features based on technical requirements, ranging from low to moderate complexity.
• Investigating, debugging, and resolving software defects and performance issues.
• Creating and maintaining accurate, up-to-date technical documentation.
• Participating in code reviews and applying feedback constructively.
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and contributing to the continuous improvement of the product and development process.

Joining the Team

You will join a multidisciplinary team of approximately 25 people, including a Project Manager, Test Manager, UX Specialist, Testers, Architects, Scrum Masters, and Software Developers.

The development team is distributed across Romania, the UK, and Denmark, with colleagues working collaboratively across locations. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment, exchange knowledge with experienced colleagues, and contribute to a product used in the defence domain.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a motivated Software Developer who combines solid technical foundations with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

You bring:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar software development role, a relevant technical degree, and professional experience with at least one object-oriented programming language. – Java, C#, C++, Scala, JavaScript, Angular.
• Experience with more languages mentioned above is an advantage, since they’re all used within the team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, together with a willingness to learn, share knowledge, and take initiative.
• Willingness to travel for onboarding and occasional business trips.
