We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our distributed engineering team and play a key role in building the payment solutions of the future. You will work on our .NET microservices backend — primarily hosted in Azure, with Corniche as our API-driven core banking system at its heart — collaborating with engineers across Borås, Stockholm, Gdansk, Málaga, and the Czech Republic. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will contribute to technical direction, share knowledge across the team, and help shape our platform and engineering culture.
Lead the design and development of microservices and their architecture using .NET Core
Drive cloud-based solution design, ensuring robust, scalable, and reliable services on Azure Cloud Native
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Pipelines
Optimize systems and applications for high performance, reliability, and maintainability
Implement and improve logging and observability using OpenTelemetry
Share knowledge and support developers of varying seniority, contributing to technical and architectural discussions
Collaborate across distributed teams and ensure alignment on technical strategy and best practices
5+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Azure
Proven experience with transaction-intensive systems and agile development processes
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design
A collaborative, team-first mindset with a passion for engineering quality
Fluent in English and Swedish
Experience in e-commerce, payments, or finance is a plus, as well as familiarity with systems like Corniche or Mambu
