The Impact You'll Make:

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in building and evolving our enterprise applications. You will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions that serve thousands of users every day. Working closely with product managers, and fellow developers, you will translate business requirements into high-quality code, contribute to technical design decisions, and help guide best practices across the team. Your work will directly impact the reliability, performance, and adaptability of our systems as the business grows.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and enhance core components of Jivy Group projects, contributing to scalable and maintainable system design
• Analyze business and technical requirements, apply critical thinking, and propose practical, extensible solutions
• Take a hands-on role in developing critical subsystems while providing technical guidance and support to other team members
• Contribute to and maintain clear, high-quality technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with architects, tech leads, and other senior engineers to align implementation with overall system design
• Review application code with a focus on advanced concerns such as performance, concurrency, security, and reliability, helping to prevent complex and hard-to-detect issues
• Assess existing systems and components for adaptability and extensibility, and suggest incremental improvements
• Identify technical risks and raise them early, offering mitigation approaches
• Support less experienced engineers in understanding design principles, architectural intent, and recommended implementation patterns

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Big advantage to have 2+ years in an Application Architect / Technical Lead role
• Strong background in:
  • Backend application design in .NET and .NET Core
  • API design (REST, event-driven, messaging)
  • Relational and non-relational databases
• Solid understanding of:
  • Architectural patterns (CQRS, microservices)
  • Distributed systems and integration patterns
  • Security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, data protection)
• Experience in design and implementation of scalable systems/highly-scalable architectures
• A solid understanding of the trade-offs inherent in software development decisions
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences with design documents, presentations and any other possible means
• Excellent skills in identifying common patterns, trends, and themes in order to navigate to optimal solutions
• Experience developing successful enterprise applications
• Extensive practical experience in the areas of web frameworks, cloud technologies, performance optimization and scalability
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and of at least one major frontend framework
• Ability to learn quickly and stay up-to-date with new technologies
• Open to working in an agile environment as part of a scrum teams
• Self-motivated, passionate about software, and driven to achieve committed milestones
• Excellent communication in English (both written and spoken)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration
• Leadership or mentoring experience beyond direct coding
