As DevOps-Cloud Engineer in our team, you have responsibility to develop and support Hp Enterprise Integration solutions. You will have opportunity to grow your career through a variety of path inside one of the world’s leading technology companies.

The role entails leading and supporting the company's Generative AI platform initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting platform services and maintaining documentation to facilitate the utilization of Generative AI across various applications. This position plays a crucial role in advancing the company's AI capabilities and promoting innovation in AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations and support activities for the platform engineering team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality deliverables. Manage the team responsible for maintaining platform infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize processes, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets. Lead hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes for the operations and support team. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in operations management and technical support.

What you will do in this role:

• Work in tandem with other engineering teams to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions for the company

• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure management

• Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies

• Ensure application performance, uptime, scaling requirements are met, while maintaining high standards of design and implementation

• Manage cloud environments in accordance to company security guidelines

• Apply and adopt DevSecOps best practices

Qualification and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 12+ years of total experience

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree

• 10+ years of relevant experience

• Technology skills:

o Expertise in common AWS services

  • IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.

o Proficiency in containers

  • Docker, Kubernetes o Competent with Linux

o Skilled in Infrastructure as Code – Terraform

o Source control management – GitHub

o Continuous Integration – Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions

o Configuration management – Ansible

o Observability – Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, Elastic stack, etc.

• Other traits:

  • Some prior experience with programming (any language)

  • Ability to work on multiple clouds (particularly, AWS and Azure)

  • Conversant with network, storage, and access management

  • Knowledgeable about cloud security and cloud cost optimization

  • Experienced in designing distributed systems for high availability

  • Familiar with microservices and messaging-based architecture

  • Good communication

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Familiarity with platform engineering concepts, cloud technologies, and Agile methodologies.
