Purpose

IDEMIA Public Security, a division of IDEMIA Group, is the premium provider of trusted biometric solutions that revolutionize public security and identity, travel and transport, and access control. Key Missions

• Design architecture strategies for distributed systems and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)

• Define reference architectures, best practices, and reusable patterns

• Implement and review critical components to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance

• Promote design patterns, SOLID principles, and modern architecture methodologies

• Lead technical decisions across .NET/C#, C/C++, Python, PowerShell, Bash

• Oversee system integration on Windows and Linux environments

• Ensure performance, security, compliance, and resilience of solutions

• Align architecture with business goals and collaborate with stakeholders

• Mentor teams and support design/code reviews

• Monitor and recommend emerging technologies

Profile & Other Information

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.

• Strong proficiency in .NET/C#, C/C++, and Python, with scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.

• Web & Application Development: Blazor, ASP.NET Core, Razor, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript; RESTful & GraphQL APIs; responsive design & UI/UX best practices

• Cloud & DevOps: Azure & AWS (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, CI/CD, IaC); Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, GitOps; Cloud Foundry (optional)

• Infrastructure & Security: Networking, IAM, PKI, TLS, encryption, MFA, SSO; Windows/Linux administration; virtualization & containers (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes); monitoring (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana)

• Data & Messaging: SQL & NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis); cloud databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, AWS RDS); messaging/event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus, SQS/SNS, Event Hubs); integration patterns (pub/sub, CQRS, event sourcing)

• Architecture & Design: Scalable, resilient, secure architectures; OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles; microservices, event-driven, domain-driven design (DDD)

Preferred Certifications:

• Cloud: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional

• Security: CISSP

• Architecture & Methodologies: TOGAF, SAFe/Agile (nice-to-have)

• DevOps & Containers: CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate
