Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Wakefield - Adults Mental Health
Location Wakefield
Rate £35 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join an Adults Mental Health team based in Wakefield.

What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will support individuals with mental health conditions as a Senior Social Worker, working collaboratively within an integrated team alongside NHS colleagues. You will manage a complex but manageable caseload, providing essential support to the Team Manager. Your responsibilities will include supervising student social workers and other employees as required, ensuring they receive the guidance and mentorship needed. You will undertake planned interventions across statutory casework, ensuring enforcement action when necessary to protect and support your clients. Additionally, you will promote collaborative working with allied health and social care professionals, preparing client reports as needed to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. This role demands a dedicated and compassionate approach, making a significant impact on the lives of those you support.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
