Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Infant Safeguarding
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Pay Rate: £41.91 per hour

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join its client’s Infant Safeguarding Team based inBlackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake pre-birth assessments, child protection investigations, and manage complex Child in Need and PLO/Pre-Proceedings cases.
• Produce high-quality assessments, court statements, and reports.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members.
• Support the Team Manager in driving performance and quality improvement.
• Act as a role model, promoting reflective practice and continuous learning.
• Lead by example in delivering child-centred, strengths-based social work.

What we’re looking for:

• Social Work England registration
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Post-qualified experience in statutory children’s services
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, pre-birth work, and court processes
• A full UK driving licence
• A commitment to professional development and team collaboration
