Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Duty & Assessment Team
Location: Bradford
Pay Rate: £35 per hour

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Social Worker for it client's Duty & Assessment Team located at Bradford.

As a Social Worker in the Duty and Assessment Team, you will be at the frontline of safeguarding and supporting children and families in Bradford. You will carry out timely assessments, respond to referrals, and work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires strong analytical skills, resilience, and a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs, strengths, and risks.
  • Respond promptly to child protection concerns and take appropriate action in line with statutory guidance.
  • Develop and implement effective care and support plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with health, education, police, and other agencies to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention in urgent or high-risk situations.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training to support continuous professional development.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
