Liquid Personnel is recruiting Senior Social Care Worker for its client at Cavan, Ireland.
What will your responsibilities be?
The primary purpose of this role is to provide care and support using a person-centred approach that addresses the practical, physical, and emotional needs of service users with an Intellectual Disability, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), or Autism. The postholder will assist individuals with disabilities in residential, training, and day service activities, supporting them to achieve their highest level of functioning, maintain independence, and develop skills that promote greater autonomy.
The Senior Social Care Worker is an integral member of the on-floor duty team, responsible for coordinating the shift and supervising staff under their direction.
The role requires collaborative working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver high-quality care to residents. The Senior Social Care Worker reports directly to the Person In-Charge.
In the absence of the Person In-Charge, the Senior Social Care Worker may be required to deputise, assuming appropriate management and leadership responsibilities as needed.
