Job Description

We are looking for a top System-on-Chip Design Engineer to help build complex GPU and SoC products while improving the automation, quality, and scalability of our design workflows. This is a broad external role for engineers who enjoy balancing hands-on SoC integration with practical automation, working across architecture, design, verification, and implementation teams to move programs from concept to execution. The role is especially well suited for someone who likes solving system-level problems, building robust flows, and using AI thoughtfully to improve engineering productivity.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive SoC integration at the subsystem or full-chip level, bringing together IPs and design components into cohesive, high-quality SoC builds.

  • Develop and maintain automation that improves build, integration, checking, debug, and delivery efficiency.

  • Work closely with arch, RTL designers, verification engineers, physical design engineers, and software teams to align interfaces, integration quality, and project milestones.

  • Use scripting and programming to simplify repetitive engineering tasks, improve design quality, and scale team productivity.

  • Apply AI-assisted methods where they add value, such as data analysis, script generation, issue triage, and workflow optimization, while using sound engineering judgment to validate results.

  • Contribute to GPU and other SoC projects by identifying integration risks early, driving closure on technical issues, and improving the reliability of design and automation flows.

What we need to see

  • MS in Micro Electronic, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 3–8 years of relevant experience in SoC design, integration, or related silicon development roles.

  • Strong understanding of digital design, RTL development, and SoC architecture concepts.

  • Experience with subsystem-level or full-chip integration.

  • Experience with flow automation and strong scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python, or similar.

  • Solid debugging skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple technical domains and teams.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to drive technical work with a high degree of ownership.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

  • Experience working on GPU, high-performance computing, AI, or other complex large-scale SoC products.

  • Leadership experience at work.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering workflows for analysis, automation, or productivity improvement.

  • Experience improving design infrastructure, build systems, checks, or integration quality at scale.

  • A track record of balancing deep technical execution with pragmatic automation and collaboration.

If you are excited by complex SoC development, cross-functional engineering, and the opportunity to apply AI to real chip-design challenges, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact on advanced silicon programs.
