Cyber Security SOC Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to be part of our Cyber Security team. You will get the opportunity to build your experience by participating in project deliveries, service and in commissioning – always having an experienced colleague to learn from.

The Incident Analyst is critical in ensuring a detailed and accurate investigation of potential security incidents that may compromise customer OT systems. This role involves in-depth forensic analysis to understand the scope and impact of incidents, ensuring effective response and protection measures while also enhancing the SOC capability to detect threats and reduce the number of false positives.

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents affecting customer OT systems, including forensic examination and log analysis.
• Identify the root cause and full extent of incidents, focusing on protecting customer systems from further impact.
• Provide detailed reports on incidents, including timelines, impact assessments, and recommendations for remediation, ensuring the confidentiality of customer information.
• Work closely with incident response teams to contain and resolve incidents, minimizing disruption to customer operations.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to understand and counteract the tactics used by adversaries against OT systems.
• Collaborate on the creation and enhancement of detection mechanisms.
• Create rules and automations to enhance SOC KPIs.

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or related field.
• Expertise in forensic tools and techniques relevant to OT environments.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SIEM, IDS and Vulnerability Management Software.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
