Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Snowflake Lead to support enterprise data modernization and analytics initiatives, delivering scalable data pipelines and cloud data solutions. This role will lead ETL development and data transformation efforts while working closely with engineering and analytics teams in an Agile delivery environment. The consultant will play a key role in optimizing Snowflake and Spark-based data processing to support high-performance enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead design and development of scalable ETL and data integration pipelines using Datastage, Informatica, or IDMC
• Drive Snowflake data engineering and optimization initiatives across enterprise data platforms
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using Python and PySpark
• Utilize Snowpark to integrate Spark processing with Snowflake environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments to deliver high-quality data solutions
• Support performance tuning, data pipeline optimization, and modernization initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of ETL development experience using IBM Datastage, Informatica, or IDMC
• 8+ years of experience delivering projects in Agile environments
• 5+ years of experience using Python, preferably with PySpark for data processing
• 3+ years of experience working with Snowpark and Snowflake integration
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC
• Strong experience designing scalable data pipelines and cloud data solutions
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in enterprise environments
