
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.

Applying software engineering principles to operations and infrastructure, you will help design and maintain systems that are highly reliable, scalable, and efficient. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, continuous optimization, and rapid incident response to ensure consistent system performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. To be successful as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - AVP, you should have:
Considerable programming expertise in languages such as Python, Java, and others
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Ansible, Chef, and Terraform
Validated experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Observe, Elastic, InfluxDB, and Grafana
Solid understanding of containerization technologies and Unix/Linux environments
Demonstrates a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset, with good analytical skills, ownership, and a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving

Considerable automation and API-first mindset, focused on driving efficiency, scalability, and repeatability
Self-starter with a proactive approach, able to independently drive programs from concept to execution
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex, undefined problems with structured thinking

This role is located in our Whippany, New Jersey office.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
