Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of EV charging deployment projects, ensuring timely installation, commissioning, and handover of systems.
- Act as the primary technical decision-maker, resolving escalations and optimizing workflows across project lifecycles.
- Oversee planning, execution, and completion of field engineering activities, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex electrical, system, and integration issues in EV infrastructure environments.
- Manage integration and commissioning of EV charging systems, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of deployment operations.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to capability development and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
- Deliver training and guidance on service procedures, commissioning practices, and maintenance standards.
- Support on-site interventions for high-priority or complex installations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in site engineering, field engineering, or technical project management roles.
- Strong background in electrical systems, commissioning, and EV charging or DC power systems.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex infrastructure deployment projects.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-complexity technical environments.
- Experience working across full project lifecycles, from planning to commissioning and final delivery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience applying structured engineering practices, documentation standards, and quality controls.
- Familiarity with agile or structured delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership and best practices.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset.
