Job Description

Do you have a passion for Cyber Security and incident response?

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to

  • Investigate and coordinate the response to complex cyber security incidents
  • Lead and contribute to proactive investigations and threat hunting activities aimed at identifying threats before they become incidents
  • Analyze attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Brief technical and non-technical stakeholders during ongoing investigations and incidents
  • Work closely with SOC analysts, threat intelligence specialists, threat hunters, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Improve detections, response playbooks, and investigation methods
  • Turn lessons learned from incidents into stronger cyber defence capabilities
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the continued development of the team

What is needed in this role

  • Around 5+ years of hands-on experience in incident response, cyber security investigations, SOC/SIRT operations, threat hunting, digital forensics, or similar cyber defence roles
  • Experience investigating security incidents in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • The ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field – or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
  • Experience in any of the following is valuable, but you do not need experience in all of them:
  • MITRE ATT&CK and related threat frameworks
  • SIEM, EDR, and security analytics platforms
  • Cloud technologies and cloud security
  • Threat hunting, digital forensics, malware analysis, or detection engineering
  • Relevant certifications such as GIAC, Microsoft Security, CISSP, or equivalent are welcome, but not required.
