Senior Services Coordinator

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Schedule: 20-24 hours per week

Arbors Management has been in the business for over 40 years and supports communities throughout Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio. We are seeking a compassionate, organized Community Resource Specialist to serve as a bridge between our senior residents and the community resources they need to thrive. The Role (What You’ll Do)

• Resident Advocacy: Provide guidance on Medicare, Medicaid, and supportive social services.
• Community Connection: Partner with local care providers and hospitals to ensure smooth transitions for residents returning home.
• Event Planning: Schedule educational speakers and on-site classes to keep residents engaged and informed.
• Communication: Create and distribute monthly property newsletters, brochures, and welcome packets.
• Documentation: Maintain secure, confidential files and document interactions with residents and families.

What You Bring

• Experience: A Degree in Social Work (or a related field) preferred or relevant work experience.
• Communication: Excellent writing skills and a "people-first" communication style.
• Compassion: The ability to build trust with seniors while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in computer programs and reporting software for daily documentation.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work independently and manage a self-directed schedule.
