About the role

Kinetic IT is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant to join our growing national ServiceNow practice.

This is a client-facing consulting role supporting some of Australia's leading enterprise and Government organisations. Working closely with customer stakeholders, you will help shape ServiceNow strategies, improve platform maturity, establish governance frameworks, and deliver meaningful business outcomes across ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management and Enterprise Service Management initiatives.

As part of a high-performing consulting team, you will engage with senior business and technology leaders, facilitate workshops, provide trusted advice, and support the successful delivery of complex ServiceNow projects. With strong growth across our ServiceNow practice and increasing demand in the Federal Government sector, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand business objectives, challenges, and transformation goals, translating these into practical ServiceNow solutions across people, process, and technology.
• Provide strategic advisory services across platform governance, operating models, CSDM, service portfolio management, data quality, and platform maturity.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather requirements, align priorities, and support informed decision-making.
• Advise customers on ServiceNow best practices whilst collaborating with delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business outcomes, governance requirements, and platform standards.
• Support solution design activities, including service modelling, reporting, integrations, and architecture considerations, whilst providing quality assurance across key deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-sales and business development activities, including customer presentations, workshops, solution shaping, and proposal development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to ServiceNow developers, administrators, and architects, promoting best practice solution design, governance standards, and platform excellence across customer engagements.
• Develop reusable consulting frameworks, artefacts, and methodologies that drive consistent and scalable customer outcomes.

About you

You are an experienced ServiceNow consultant who enjoys solving complex business challenges and building trusted relationships with customers. You combine strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, particularly across ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, and governance domains. Comfortable engaging with both technical teams and senior executives, you can translate complex concepts into clear recommendations, mentor developers and architects, and help organisations make confident decisions about platform strategy, operating models, and long-term ServiceNow maturity.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated consulting experience delivering ServiceNow solutions within large enterprise or government environments.
• Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, particularly across ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, CSDM, governance, and broader Enterprise Service Management capabilities.
• Experience establishing or maturing ServiceNow governance frameworks, including platform standards, operating models, data governance, and continual improvement practices.
• Strong executive engagement, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, solution development, customer workshops, and proposal responses.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and its practical application within complex enterprise environments.
• Current AGSVA Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or higher preferred), with the ability to obtain a higher level of clearance if required.
• ServiceNow certifications highly regarded, with Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credentials preferred.
