Job Description

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) Housing Program has an opening for a Senior Service Technician & Facilities Manager working full-time (35-hours per week) based in Tell City, Indiana and traveling to all LHDC Locations.

The role is responsible for overall housing maintenance for all housing properties and serves as the manager of facilities for Larry K. Kleeman Center, Tell City Annex, and 529 Main Street. Responsible for the supervision of Service Technicians and Landscaping Technicians, including, but not limited to overseeing completion of work orders, managing schedules including on-call schedule, assisting and participating in the on-call rotation, assisting with maintenance repairs, approving timecards, and other administrative duties. Must be able to perform minor repairs such as, but not limited to, fixing leaky faucets, handrails, steps, doors, and windows.

Requirements

A graduate of an accredited college, university, or technical or trade school with at least an Associate’s Degree in Building Management or correlated discipline is required. A combination of both education and/or experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Certification in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or carpentry preferred. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and travel locally and out-of-area as necessary. Must be able to pass the necessary background checks required for the position.

LHDC staff work a 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday.
