At a glance:

Based at our Moorebank (Sydney) distribution centre, this permanent full-time role supports a state-of-the-art Automated Case Picking solution operating in a 24/7 environment.
You will play a key technical leadership role, acting as the escalation point for complex system issues while driving reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across advanced

Your Impact:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults across automated systems

  • Lead technical response during system outages, ensuring safe and timely recovery

  • Improve asset performance through corrective maintenance, system modifications, and optimisation initiatives

  • Analyse performance data and control system diagnostics to prevent service disruptions Coach and mentor technicians, building technical capability within the service team

  • Deliver training to uplift electro-mechanical and automation skillsets

  • Collaborate with site leadership and engineering teams to enhance system availability and maintainability

What makes you a great fit?

  • A Grade Electrical Licence (essential) Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  • Strong electro-mechanical fault-finding and rectification experience in automated environments

  • Hands-on expertise with field devices such as inverters, sensors, scanners, gearboxes, drives, and bearings

  • Clear communication skills with demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
