The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Service Sales Specialist in the Benelux region.
In this role, you drive growth of service business across high-voltage systems, transformers, and grid connections.

You work closely with customers to improve asset reliability and performance.
You help them extend equipment lifetime and optimize maintenance strategies.

You focus strongly on business development.
You identify new service opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.

You act as a trusted partner for long-term service agreements and lifecycle solutions.
You also support the growth of digital and performance-based services.

You collaborate with technical and commercial teams across the organization.
This role gives you high visibility and impact in a growing service business.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Identify and develop new service opportunities across HV and transformer portfolios
  • Grow service revenue within strategic accounts through renewals and extensions
  • Expand business into new customers and non-OEM installed base
  • Promote service agreements, including SLA, SFA, and long-term contracts
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders across functions
  • Understand customer needs and propose value-based service solutions
  • Support customers in defining maintenance and lifecycle strategies
  • Manage the full sales process from opportunity to contract closure
  • Prepare proposals with technical and commercial teams
  • Maintain a reliable pipeline and sales forecast

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in service sales
  • Experience in energy, transformers, or high-voltage environments
  • Proven track record in growing service business and contracts
  • Understanding of lifecycle services and maintenance strategies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
