Responsibilities:Service engineers have to repair and service all the machinery and equipment present in a company's manufacturing unitPlan the servicing work in advance so the output of the factory is not affected by the service workWork in teams and delegate work amongst them so the work can be conducted in a fast paceMake detailed reports on all the work that is done on each machineEnsure that any parts that need replacing are available in stockWork on improving the performance of the machineConduct safety checks on all the machines or it could prove to be dangerous for the workers working on themKeep an inventory of equipment required for the repair workResponsible for the installation, commissioning maintenance and servicing of equipment.Customer first-mindsetExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent product knowledge .Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in order to relay the problem solution to customers and management.
Requirements:Ability to supervise.Computer literate and experience with MS Office, ExcelExperience of engaging with customers in a pressured environmentDegree in engineeringExperience in man management, leadership and good communication skills with staff and cliental customers/suppliersStrong understanding of formal project management methodologies.3 years (Preferred)
