What You’ll Do
- Mentor junior SEO analysts and team members, sharing advanced insights and strategies to elevate the overall expertise and performance of the SEO department.
- Act as a guiding force in developing junior analyst skills and knowledge in SEO practices, focusing on fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative SEO strategies and practices, ensuring alignment with the latest industry trends and standards.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations to enhance project outcomes, leveraging exceptional analytical skills to drive success.
- Research and analyze data to generate actionable insights that inform clients' SEO programs using sources such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, and more, with limited oversight and help.
- Significantly contribute to technical site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Lighthouse, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
- Significantly contribute to the development of strategic deliverables, such as customer journeys and content gap analyses, that identify competitive opportunities for clients to pursue.
- Review and provide SEO best practice recommendations for page templates, site content, and assets like YouTube videos, including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and content edits, with the ability to defend your recommendations with data and relevant sources.
- Develop and produce reports of intermediate to advanced complexity for clients using tools such as Google Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, delivered at different cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Proactively monitor clients' SEO programs for performance and threats, escalate wins, losses, and opportunities to the team and client, and take accountability for anomalies and surfacing opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with a cross-functional client team, including SEO Analysts, Managers, and Director roles as well as Account Services
- Participate in client calls, providing insightful knowledge and expertise with the ability to address client questions of reasonable complexity within the call.
- Manage the use of platforms such as Yext, Rio, Stat and Semrush for clients, and be accountable for improving effective utilization.
- Perform Quality Assurance review of others' work and teach process to others one-on-one or in department meetings.
- Contribute to the SEO department by sharing news bites, participating in Slack channels, engaging in vendor meetings to learn new features and ask probing questions, and supporting internal projects.

QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring
- 2+ Years of SEO Expertise: Show experience with content strategy, web development, and off-site platforms like YouTube contributing to positive client performance.
- Sharing Knowledge: Demonstrate a willingness to share what you’ve learned with others on our team and to learn from them as well.
- A proven ability to mentor and uplift team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Self-Governance: Possess strong organizational and self-management skills, yet comfortable asking for help and admitting ignorance.
- Visual Communication: Skilled in presenting data insights through PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Excel and Google Sheets Proficiency: Possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including expertise in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Web Analytics

Experience: Experienced in using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
