Job Description

Amazon is looking for a smart and ambitious Seller Consultant to join its China team. The objective of the Sales consultant is to deliver new business growth and maximize revenue generation across Amazon's suite of products for merchants. Recruiting and launching sellers on Amazon's global marketplaces. You will analyze traffic and sales data to identify opportunities to help sellers succeed on the marketplaces.
Your superior communication, organizational and technical skills will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, where you will have the autonomy to take full control and responsibility for achieving our business objectives.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Develop a category recruitment strategy by analyzing the competitive landscape and defining new products' value proposition.
- Identify, recruit and support sellers of various types (SMEs to large retailers) to execute on growth plans.
- Review and monitor performance and sales of Amazon's partners in order to provide them with consulting advice to grow their business.
- Feed back to other teams within Amazon worldwide lessons learned during project implementation and post-live support phases.
- Coordinate and lead project with cross function teams and deliver result with stakeholders

Key job responsibilities
1. Sales Execution & Seller Conversion

Receive qualified leads and drive end-to-end sales conversion. Identify key decision-makers within target companies, deliver tailored pitches based on category and seller profile, build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple business functions, and convert high-quality brand owners to launch and sell on the platform.

2. New Seller Onboarding & Activation

Guide newly launched sellers through their critical first 90 days on the platform. Help sellers optimize their product listings, build compelling content, generate early customer reviews, activate advertising and run promotional campaigns to build initial sales momentum and establish a strong market entry.

3. Seller Growth & Brand Development

Conduct regular business reviews with sellers to understand their performance, identify growth opportunities and recommend actionable next steps. Help sellers strengthen their brand presence on the platform, improve product visibility and adopt advanced marketing and branding tools aligned with their business goals and growth stage.

4. Category Knowledge & Market Insight

Develop strong knowledge of relevant product categories to deliver informed and credible seller conversations. Stay current on category trends, competitive landscape and seasonal dynamics. Share learnings with the broader team and contribute to building reusable category knowledge and best practices.

5. Relationship Management & Account Growth

Build and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of brand owners throughout their lifecycle on the platform. Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, coordinating engagement across procurement, e-commerce, marketing and executive contacts within the seller's organization. Drive seller satisfaction and long-term retention.

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of inside sales experience
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
