The Senior Segment Marketing Manager owns Biopharma segment strategy, positioning, brand development, external expert networks, content strategy, and commercial enablement.

This position reports to the head of Biopharma product marketing, sits on the Global Strategic Marketing team, and is fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Own global Biopharma segment GTM strategy 

• Define priority customer groups, workflows, applications, market opportunities, value propositions, and routes to growth. Translate customer, market, competitive, regulatory, and funding insights into clear strategic choices, business cases, and commercial priorities. Identify unmet needs and portfolio or solution gaps that inform commercialization, innovation, partnership, and investment decisions. 

Build the BEC LS brand in Biopharma 

• Develop a differentiated segment narrative that connects BEC LS capabilities to critical Biopharma workflows and customer outcomes. Build awareness, relevance, consideration, and preference across priority Biopharma audiences through focused brand and thought-leadership programs. Partner with Digital and Commercial Marketing to activate customer-centric campaigns and demand-generation initiatives. 

Develop and activate external expert networks 

• Build a global network of key opinion leaders, scientific experts, industry partners, and customer champions to strengthen market insight and credibility. Create advisory activities, scientific collaborations, and external engagement plans aligned with priority growth opportunities. Translate expert and customer input into actionable segment, content, and commercial recommendations. 

Enable commercial teams and drive measurable funnel 

• Own the Biopharma content and asset roadmap. Develop customer-facing content, workflow narratives, proof points, application stories, campaigns, playbooks, and competitive tools. Equip sales teams with segment knowledge, discovery questions, value messaging, training, and tools that support confident customer conversations and improved conversion. 

Lead go-to-market execution and performance management 

• Lead global, cross-functional commercialization programs from opportunity definition through activation, adoption, and scale-up. Align global and regional stakeholders around priorities, roles, execution plans, and performance expectations. Track awareness, engagement, FFR, qualified funnel, sales adoption, pipeline progression, win rate, and revenue contribution; use results to improve programs and investment decisions. 

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Marketing, Business, or a related scientific discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in strategic marketing, segment marketing, product marketing, market development, commercial strategy, or related life sciences commercial roles.
• Demonstrated experience in the Biopharma market, including customer workflows, applications, buying processes, and commercialization within bioprocessing, biologics, cell and gene therapy, analytical instrumentation, or related markets.
• Experience developing and executing customer insight programs, including Voice of Customer research, customer interviews, advisory boards, market research, and win/loss analysis.
• Demonstrated success developing and commercializing go-to-market strategies, value propositions, content strategies, sales enablement programs, and growth initiatives in a global B2B environment.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel up to 35% globally, including customer engagements, scientific conferences, advisory boards, commercial meetings, and business planning activities.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience commercializing multi-product solutions or integrated workflow offerings.
• Experience working with global life sciences or biopharma customers across multiple geographies.
• Additional language proficiency beyond English.

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
