THE BACKGROUND

For our client, a European Institution based in Strasbourg, France, we are looking for an experienced Security Specaialist to join a short-term mission in a major EU Institution, For the needs of the client, you can work remotely from anywhere in the EU. However, you will be required to meet the team on-site and travel occasionally.

More specifically, you will be responsible for…

• Consultancy services to support the Agency's Information Security Officers in the management of information security and business continuity across organizational business processes and information systems.

• Developing security controls in the context of the agency's information security framework.

• Performing risk assessments.

• Drafting security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines in accordance with ISO27001.

• Developing security plans, BC plans and documentation (e.g., risk treatment plans, security test plans).

• Developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

• Performing security assessments and audits (incl. ISMS control audits and gap assessments).

• Designing security controls in accordance with agency information security policies and standards.

• Providing support in formal accreditation process for information systems handling EU sensitive and classified information.

• Preparing documents such as reports, notes, letters, presentations, etc

Requirements

Are you the perfect match?

• Possession of a university degree.

• B2 level English

• 6+ years of experience Security Management Specialist or equivalent

Deliverables:

Monthly service reports and other relevant security related documentation on running the activities related to:

• Risk assessments.

• Security related documents like security plan, business continuity plans, security requirements.

• The ISMS documents like security policies, security standards, security guidelines etc.

• Audit and security reviews.

• Presentations on security and business continuity elements.
