
About the team:
- The Applications IAM team secures application access and secrets across Swiss Re's technology landscape, including public cloud environments.
- We are part of the CSO Product & Engineering unit, responsible for cybersecurity engineering, operations, governance, risk, and compliance.
- We contribute to defining and implementing Swiss Re's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
About the role:
- In this role, you will directly improve the security of Swiss Re.
- You will work on complex authentication and authorization challenges like on designing, prototyping or improving solutions to reduce the risk of credentials leakage.
- You will also assess risks application identities, and help explaining solutions across the organization
- This role offers a flexible hybrid setup, combining remote work with collaboration in our Madrid office.
About you:
- You have a background in software engineer or DevSecOps and enjoy designing and building solutions, including writing code.
- You have a deep understanding of one or more authentication protocols.
- You have significant experience designing secure integrations across multi-cloud environments.
- You can communicate technical risks and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You want to have an impact by improving the security of your company.
- You are comfortable tackling difficult problems and ambitious objectives.
- You are used to working with high-level objectives and independently defining the path to delivery.
For Spain the base salary range for this position is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
