We’re the leading owner and operator of battery storage in the UK, supporting the National Grid with the uptake of renewable power. We also work with c.90% of the UK's major bus companies, powering 25% of the UK e-bus market. We’re also the number one owner and operator of e-buses in Australia and New Zealand, and are quickly expanding into light commercial vehicles and trucks. Our rapidly growing company is looking for highly talented and motivated people to join us. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

As our company scales, we are maturing our technology operations and shifting towards a proactive, 'secure-by-design' culture. We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Security Engineer to join as our first dedicated technical security hire. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will bridge the gap between security strategy and software engineering, ensuring that our products and infrastructure are secure from the ground up.

A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

• Design and implement security solutions to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats across our cloud and application ecosystem.

• Proven hands-on experience as a Security Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or similar technical security role.
