
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Senior Security Engineer to join our Security Services team, reporting to the DSO Manager. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the integrity of nbn’s digital infrastructure, working within a dynamic engineering environment that supports over 500 engineers. You will be responsible for embedding security into our CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks, ensuring the resilience and availability of platforms that underpin critical enterprise services.

You will work collaboratively within DevSecOps pods, delivering secure, automated solutions that empower our stakeholders and uplift our organisational capability. Your work will span the integration of security controls into automated workflows, the management of scanning tools, and the support of certificate lifecycle processes. By championing secure engineering practices and mentoring others, you will help shape a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence across nbn.
A bit about you
You are a thoughtful and proactive security professional with deep expertise Security Systems and Security Services, complemented by a strong grasp of CI/CD tooling and automation frameworks You bring practical experience in DevSecOps methodologies and a genuine passion for integrating security into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle. Your hands-on knowledge of CICD technologies pairs with your ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across diverse teams.

Curious and solutions-focused, you embrace agility and continuous learning, anticipating challenges and resolving blockers with empathy and precision.
