Your Opportunity

Due to exciting upcoming projects, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Consultant to be part of our Digital Technology team in Australia. You will be joining a diverse team of consultants, designers and engineers who are passionate about what they do, with a proven track record of guiding our projects and client strategies to great outcomes. We deliver innovative electronic and digital system solutions that help make buildings smarter, more enjoyable and more secure. This role is Sydney based.

You will:

  • Liaise with stakeholders and develop detailed user requirements

  • Develop physical and electronic security, systems Integration (when needed), ICT and supporting technical designs to meet user requirements

  • Verify design against relevant standards, criteria and user requirements

  • Provide coordination and project support to internal teams

  • Provide project support to relevant stakeholders during the construction phase

  • Assist in the identification of new technologies and systems to provide better user outcomes

  • Support the development of strong client relationships through high quality work delivery, professionalism and collaborative nature

About you

Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or diploma in technology based discipline such as electrical engineering, IT, systems engineering or similar.

  • 2-5 years of experience years in security consulting and system design.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with the following software packages:

  • Microsoft Office/365

  • Visio

  • Bluebeam

  • NSW security licence holder (Class 2A)

Desirable Experience

  • Passionate about using technology to deliver usable and innovative security solutions to enhance user experience and reduce impact on business operations.

  • Experienced in designing and delivering mixed technology systems and using systems integration techniques within the built environment

  • Have an eye for detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong technical, oral and written skills

  • Interest in developing their User Experience (UX) and Human Centred Design (HCD / HF) skill sets with integrated security technology systems

  • concepts.

  • Building systems integration experience

  • Proficient with, or experience in using, the following software packages:

  • CCTV modelling tools such as JVSG

  • AutoCAD

  • Revit

  • Sketchup

Key Skills

  • Curious, experimental, and proactive mindset towards digital innovation.

  • Collaborative working style with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical workflows to non-technical users.

  • Comfortable working in an iterative, prototype-driven environment.
