Minimum Educational Requirement:
Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Years of Experience:
12+ years of progressive experience in complex direct sales and/or channel sales environments
The Senior Securities Account Executive – National Accounts, is responsible for generating and growing revenue for AD Banker’s securities education product line by actively building, managing, and converting a strong pipeline of opportunities. This role owns strategic, high complexity sales engagements within an assigned national territory and operates with a high degree of autonomy in advancing the most critical revenue opportunities from discovery through close.
The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter who is equally comfortable developing new business, expanding strategic partner relationships, and leading complex sales engagements involving senior level decision makers. Revenue generation will come from net new client acquisition, expansion and cross sell opportunities within the existing partner base, and strategic sales initiatives intended to position AD Banker as a market leader within the financial services education industry.
This role serves as a senior individual contributor and subject matter leader within the sales organization, influencing deal strategy, account planning, and long range growth while maintaining direct accountability for revenue outcomes.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities
• Own and lead the entire sales cycle for standard and high complexity opportunities, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
• Serve as the primary sales owner for the most complex and strategically significant opportunities within the assigned territory, exercising independent judgment and accountability to advance and close high value deals.
• Drive net new business development through targeted prospecting and strategic account penetration, with a focus on long term revenue growth and market expansion.
• Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales funnel to ensure accurate forecasting, visibility, and prioritization of key opportunities.
• Partner with internal teams—including content development, sales operations, technology, marketing, and compliance—to align solutions and execution for complex client needs.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for high value clients, identifying cross sell and expansion opportunities across AD Banker’s education portfolio.
• Lead discovery calls, executive level meetings, and formal presentations with senior decision makers, industry leaders, and prospective clients.
• Attend, present, and represent AD Banker at industry events, partner meetings, and conferences to build brand awareness and revenue generating relationships.
• Monitor competitive products, pricing structures, and market trends; provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support long range sales planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sales activity, pipeline progression, and forecasts within the CRM system.
• Utilize internal and external performance metrics to adjust sales strategy and optimize territory results.
Minimum Requirements
• Proven experience in a hunter focused sales role with demonstrated success in winning and closing complex, net new business.
• Experience working with executive level decision makers and key industry influencers to drive strategic sales outcomes.
• Strong track record of managing a large or national territory with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to structure, negotiate, and close sophisticated sales engagements with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience within the financial services industry preferred but not required.

Technical Skills Required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Experience with video conferencing and presentation tools (Zoom, GoToMeeting, MS Teams, etc.).
• Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and sales tools.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not supervise the work of others.
Internal and External Interaction
This role interacts regularly with peers, cross functional partners, and sales leadership. Externally, the role engages directly with clients, partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders, including escalation and support situations within the assigned territory.

***$120,000-125,000 base plus a 60% variable commission plan.
