We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our global technology organisation based in Coimbra, Portugal, working in a hybrid model In this role, you will lead multiple global software scrum teams and support the delivery of high‑quality software solutions in a regulated environment, while driving agile maturity and continuous improvement.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead multiple global software scrum teams from planning through execution using agile methodologies and best practices

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across multiple concurrent teams

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Marketing, Field Service, R&D, Quality, and PMO to ensure priorities and sprint goals are aligned

  • Establish, track, and report KPIs related to predictability, efficiency, and delivery outcomes

  • Actively identify and remove impediments and risks that hinder team progress

  • Support the software release process and promote continuous improvement in ways of working

  • Mentor teams and stakeholders on agile principles, mindset, and practices

What will you need to be successful?

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master, with 5+ years’ overall experience in software development, engineering, or project management

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or project management‑related field

  • Strong hands‑on experience with agile tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar

  • Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks

  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills

  • Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g. MedTech or Life Sciences)

  • Knowledge of IEC 62304 (preferred)

  • Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent
