Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Lead strategic innovation projects and develop novel chemical synthesis solutions to support business growth.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate organic synthesis experiments from laboratory scale through pilot and production scale-up.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes by leveraging available technologies, scientific expertise, and operational resources.
  • Troubleshoot reaction and process challenges associated with production and scale-up activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure successful technology transfer.
  • Conduct competitor and technology landscape analysis to identify emerging opportunities and maintain technical leadership.
  • Provide advanced technical support for existing product portfolios and new product development initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, process efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial R&D experience in organic synthesis or related fields.
  • Strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and reaction mechanism analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques including GC, GC-MS, and NMR.
  • Proven ability to independently design experiments, analyze data, and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional and international teams.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of chemical engineering principles and process development.
  • Experience in manufacturing scale-up and commercial production environments.
  • Experience working within the flavors, fragrances, specialty chemicals, fine chemicals, or related industries.
  • Track record of innovation, patents, publications, or successful commercialization projects.
