40The Lopez laboratory studies viruses and their interaction with their host. Our goal is to understand how the different components of a virus population affect the infected organism and how this interaction influences the virus evolution and its maintenance in nature. Our multidisciplinary approach to gather an inclusive mechanistic understanding of the processes that result from the interaction of viruses and the infected organism will expose you to a diverse array of techniques and tools, as well as to rich intellectual diversity. The ideal candidate is someone that embraces mentoring and loves to do science at the bench. The job involves the design and establishment of research protocols and assisting in developing and conducting research projects, including experiment design, data analysis and documentation of experiment results.

$63,400.00 - $115,000.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
