We are seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Senior Scientist Immunology to join our Immunology Discovery therapeutic area at our organization in Cambridge MA and can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Work in a team that supports early development of novel therapeutics for autoimmune and inflammatory disease indications
Validating novel immunology targets to advance drug discovery programs to clinical candidates
Education
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in
Biological Sciences, Immunology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Genetics/Genomics, or related STEM field with experience in the area of Immunology. Experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry is preferred.
Required
Expertise with multi-parameter flow cytometry, developing in vitro assays to investigate immune function and possess a deep knowledge of technologies commonly used to assess immune endpoints.
Experience in primary immune cell isolation and stimulation, proliferation and apoptosis assays, immunoassay techniques/platforms (e.g. Western, ELISA, Mesoscale), as well as RT-PCR.
Candidate should be competent in standard scientific software used for data analysis (e.g. Microsoft Excel) as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and Graphpad Prism.
Good data handling and recording skills as well as the ability to interpret moderately complex data sets and draw appropriate conclusions from them.
Excellent organization and ability multi-task and manage multiple projects
Ability to adapt to rapid changes in projects priorities, define and meet aggressive timelines
Committed to working in a collaborative manner across functional areas within a matrixed organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Curious, self-motivated with principled verbal and written communications
Preferred
Expertise in key areas of autoimmunity focused around modulation of immune response and induction of tolerance
Experience with preclinical model systems and human disease tissues and transcriptomic analyses
Experience leading biologics or chemistry discovery projects
Background in clinical immunology, translational biomarkers
Ability to analyze multi-OMICs datasets

The salary range for this role is
$119,100.00 - $187,500.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
