What you will do

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist, Analytical Development to join our R&D Analytical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for product specifications, authoring and reviewing analytical documents such as technical justifications, regulatory submissions, and product quality review to support the development and commercialization of consumer products. This role requires strong technical expertise in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, a solid understanding of regulatory expectations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What you will do

The Senior Scientist will be for product specifications, authoring and reviewing analytical documents such as technical justification, regulatory submission and product quality review to support the development and commercialization of consumer products. This role requires strong technical expertise in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, a solid understanding of regulatory expectations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will lead specification setting activities for analytical development and life cycle management, base business activities, execute complex laboratory investigations, support regulatory submissions, and provide technical mentorship to junior scientists while driving projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure analytical activities comply with applicable regulatory guidelines, including FDA, ICH, ISO, and relevant pharmacopeial standards.
• Strong skills in analytical test method development, validation and transfer using GC, HPLC/UPLC, and related techniques for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), impurities, raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

• Ensures that specifications and referenced documents are complete, accurate, scientifically justified through robust development and appropriate method validation, and compliant with applicable analytical standards and procedures.
• Prepare documentation to support regulatory submissions, technical reports, method validation protocols, and study reports.
• Participate in laboratory investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Collaborate with formulation scientists, quality, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and external partners to achieve project objectives.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting aggressive timelines and business goals.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to project teams, management, and broader company audiences.
• Analyze, interpret, and document experimental data with scientific rigor.
• Participate in internal or regulatory audits as subject matter experts for assigned responsibilities.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Represent analytical requirements on cross-functional project teams and global teams.
• Participate in regional/global initiatives and share technical expertise.
• Act as the SME for test method-related problems, providing guidance and solutions to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
• Oversee product specification and test method updates, ensuring that they remain current and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of GMP principles and laboratory documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, coaching, and training junior scientists.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and responding to agency inquiries.
• Knowledge of analytical quality-by-design (AQbD) principles and risk-based method development approaches.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience in writing Analytical documentation for NDA/ANDA submissions is preferred

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Education: Minimum BSc, MSc, M. Pharm, Ph.D. or equivalent science stream
• Other Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Work experience: Minimum 7 years to 15 years in Analytical development, Quality Control, or related functions in healthcare/pharma/FMCG/Food/Nutraceuticals sector with exposure to GMP and Quality environment preferred.
• Deep technical expertise related to chemistry, analytical techniques, method development, validation, stability, and research technologies. Solid understanding of analytical and physical testing capabilities.
• Ability to prepare high-quality test methods, protocols, reports, technical justification, and scientific communications.
