Job Description
The Position
Drive the end ‑to ‑end creation, curation, and governance of scientific/medical content for the assigned Therapeutic Area(s)—with a majority of time on hands ‑on writing and editorial leadership—to enable accurate, compliant, and impactful omnichannel communication to HCPs and internal stakeholders. The role translates TA strategy into a clear scientific communication platform (SCP) and deliverables across publications, congresses, field medical tools, and digital education.
Task & Responsibilities:
- Support TA Medical Affairs to author and edit high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliant materials (publications, congress content, field medical tools, digital assets)
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to internal and external standards (ICMJE, SOPs)
- Support TA Medical Affairs to oversee publication planning and execution, including journal submissions and congress deliverables; Maintain timelines and quality standards for abstracts, posters, and presentations
- Translate therapeutic area objectives into actionable content plans
- Drive content reuse across multiple platforms (field, digital, scientific events)
- Manage scientific communication platform to reflect latest evidence and TA priorities
- Track content performance metrics and implement process improvements. Deliver quarterly reports and optimize content based on insights and feedback
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field including Pharmacy, Medicine, or Biomedical Sciences
- Knowledge of Publication Planning and Management and Medical content generation processes as well as internal/external publication and medical material related guidelines
- Good therapeutic area knowledge and writing skills
- Good cross-functional collaboration/project management skills and communication skills
- Experience in medical writing, editing or scientific communications for pharma industry is considered an advantage.
