Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Registrar/Scheduler to join our team on a Full-Time basis in our Multi-Specialty Clinics.
The Senior Clinic Scheduler is responsible for welcoming visitors and patients to the clinic and obtaining necessary information from them before they see the provider.

The Senior Clinic Scheduler will serve as a resource and mentor to scheduling staff, providing guidance, training, and schedule efficiency. This position requires advanced knowledge of scheduling systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to analyze scheduling data to support continuous improvement in patient access and clinic performance.

The Senior Clinic Scheduler is required to understand, perform, and fill in for all scheduler functions as needed. While this role includes some direct scheduling responsibilities, its primary focus is on staff training and onboarding, schedule maintenance/efficiency, issue resolution, and support to the scheduling team and the Financial Clearance Coordinator.


Position Requirements:

  • Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Preferred: Completion of Post High School Vocational/Specialized training
  • Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting performing or supporting functions related to scheduling, registration, insurance verification, referral management, prior authorizations, coding, estimates, claims, billing or customer service.
  • Certification: Epic Certification
  • Computer Competency: Intermediate computer competency skills are expected for this position.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Intermediate Skills- Able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas, and prepare applicable charts for reports

Work Shift:

  • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
  • 40 hours per week
  • Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday
  • Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • No Weekends or Holidays
