  • Act as a senior member of the payroll support team, mentoring junior colleagues, facilitating daily stand-ups, and supporting planning and knowledge-transfer activities.
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned clients, developing in-depth knowledge of their system configuration and payroll processing cycles.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation following system changes and process updates.
  • Manage change requests from requirements gathering and estimation through unit testing, implementation, and deployment.

  • Participate in client-facing calls to provide updates on incidents, resolutions, and ongoing support activities.
  • Investigate and resolve complex SAP Payroll defects involving overtime, social security calculations, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, posting, payslips, RTI, and other UK-specific payroll requirements.
  • Apply established change and release management practices to ensure reliable and controlled system updates.
  • Manage the testing and implementation of SAP patches, including HRSP and CLC updates.
  • Support End-of-Year and Start-of-Year payroll activities in collaboration with client payroll teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and develop deeper expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • Requirements:

    • Hands-on experience with UK and Ireland SAP Payroll, including schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), wage type creation, basic pay configuration, and related payroll functionality.
    • Proven experience working with SAP Payroll systems in maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration, and application support environments.
    • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of UK and Ireland payroll processes, systems, and relevant legislation.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage work across multiple clients while meeting deadlines and contractual SLA requirements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical matters in clear, business-oriented language.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues at different levels.
    • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
    • Flexibility to adjust working hours when required to support critical payroll issues or escalations.
    • Experience with systems implementation is beneficial but not mandatory.
    • Strong interest in developing subject-matter expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
    • Ability to support UK working hours and time-zone requirements.
    • Work authorization in the employing country without requiring current or future visa sponsorship is required.
    • Benefits:
