Technical solution and delivery:

  • Analyse requirements with process experts and turn them into functional specifications and technical concepts in SAP SD.
  • Design and implement solutions in S/4HANA, combining configuration with enhancements (BAdIs, user exits, Enhancement Framework); develop ABAP solutions yourself as a regular part of the role.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for defects and incidents: debugging, error analysis, transport issues.
  • Develop interfaces between S/4HANA and external systems (logistics, e-commerce, EDI) using IDoc/ALE, RFC and Web APIs.
  • Work with international teams and architects; provide consulting, knowledge transfer and mentoring.
  • Support functional and technical testing and deployment to production.

Coordination of FIS third party product (we will provide training/onboarding):

  • Lead regular technical alignment with FIS: system prerequisites, software updates, SAP upgrades, customizing and design reviews.
  • Ensure FIS/wws is integrated into the end-to-end O2C flow, with Source-to-Pay (S2P) interfaces where needed.
  • Analyse FIS-related defects together with test teams and FIS.
  • Bridge communication between developers (internal and FIS) and non-technical business users

Qualifications

  • Hands-on ABAP development experience: you write production code yourself (reports, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, interfaces via RFC/IDoc/Web APIs) and are fluent in debugging and analysing existing code.
