Job Description


We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP PPM Functional Analyst to join a strategic project in Cape Town. This is a contract role focused on delivering robust SAP PPM solutions to support project governance, portfolio management, resource planning, and strategic decision-making.


Requirements


Minimum Requirements (Mandatory)


  • Valid
    SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Certification

    (proof must be provided with CV)

  • Minimum
    8 years’ SAP experience

  • Participation in
    more than five (5) full SAP implementations

  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP PPM configuration, implementation, and support

  • Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions


Key Responsibilities


  • Analyse business requirements and design functional SAP PPM solutions

  • Configure, implement, and support SAP PPM modules and related processes

  • Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders to define needs

  • Develop functional specifications and support technical teams during development/integration

  • Perform system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution

  • Support full project lifecycle activities including UAT and end-user training

  • Ensure solutions follow best practices and governance standards

  • Produce and maintain functional documentation and process flows

  • Knowledge of project portfolio governance, resource management, and project financials
