Job Description
Our client, a Budapest-based company, has launched an S/4HANA program. To support the progress of the project, we are looking for a Senior SAP Project Manager.
Project Details:
- Start ASAP
- Location Budapest (2-3 days per week onsite required)
- Duration 3 months+ (extension possible, up to 2 years)
- Workload Full-time
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Contract type Freelance
Important note:
Please note that our client is based in Hungary. Therefore, we can only consider candidates who are fluent in Hungarian and able to be onsite in Budapest 2–3 days per week.
Tasks
- Define and coordinate project stream activities with internal and external stakeholders (development, migration, testing, integration, cutover)
- Coordinate external partners (system integrators and legacy vendors) and review deliverables
- Plan and coordinate internal resources involved in the project
- Prepare regular status reports and report to senior management
- Handle escalations and keep program management informed, providing input for further escalations as needed
- Prepare presentations
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in SAP project environments as a Project Manager or System Integrator (ECC, S/4HANA, or BW)
- Proven experience in business impact analysis, system analysis, testing, migration, and cutover
- Functional knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD)
- Strong understanding of process mapping within an SAP environment
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with stakeholders and clients
- Experience in large enterprise and/or telecommunications environments is a plus
- Fluent English skills (suitable for professional and client-facing communication)
