Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an internal service provider for the Hydro Group, delivering IT, financial, and HR services across all business areas.

We are now seeking an SAP Senior Project Manager to join GBS IT and contribute to the execution of our SAP journey ahead. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies in a global organization, collaborating across business areas and geographies.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategically important SAP projects across functional and organizational areas. This includes establishing and leading project teams with internal and external resources to ensure successful delivery. While most stakeholders are based in Norway, the role also supports Hydro entities in other regions.

This will be some of your tasks:

• End-to-end project management, from initiation through delivery and closure.
• Delivery of proofs of concept, pilots, and platform implementations.
• Implementation of solutions aligned with agreed ERP strategies, including standardization and improved user experience.
• Stakeholder management, customer advisory, and follow-up of enhancement requests, ensuring alignment with overall ERP governance.

What will make you successful?

• University degree in IT, finance, business, engineering, or a related field
• At least five years' experience in technology related project management, including planning, execution, and delivery
• Experience with SAP, agile methodologies, or process optimization is an advantage
• Experience with SAP implementations, analytics tools, upgrades, or large-scale migrations is preferred
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to manage stakeholders at different organizational levels
• Fluency in English, written and spoken; proficiency in Norwegian, German, or Portuguese is an asset
