About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP IS-U Developer to join an innovative Agile team working on large-scale energy and billing solutions in the Netherlands. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of a billing platform that provides millions of customers with insights into their energy costs and consumption.

The energy sector is continuously evolving with dynamic contracts, pricing changes, and new market regulations. As part of this transformation, you will work on future-proof SAP IS-U solutions that support critical business processes and improve customer experiences.

This role is ideal for a technically strong SAP IS-U professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, working in Agile environments, and building scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Analyze, design, and develop solutions within SAP IS-U using ABAP.
• 
  Work on smart billing and energy consumption processes for B2C customers.
• 
  Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP IS-U functionalities and integrations.
• 
  Support end-to-end Agile software delivery cycles.
• 
  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative SAP solutions.
• 
  Participate in troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• 
  Contribute to the development of future-proof energy market solutions.
• 
  Ensure high-quality and scalable SAP developments aligned with business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  10+ years of experience in SAP IS-U development.
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U.
• 
  Strong experience with EDM (Energy Data Management).
• 
  Solid ABAP development expertise within SAP IS-U environments.
• 
  Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• 
  Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• 
  Ability to solve complex technical and functional problems.
• 
  Fluent Dutch communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) are mandatory.
